TechsHelpTeens is a nonprofit agency providing mentoring programs for high school youth in-between the ages of 14-17 in Pinellas County. The program will form partnerships between local IT Professionals, teens within the Juvenile and Dependency court system, and Case Managers via in-person mentoring, online communications, and web based management tools.

TechsHelpTeens’s goal is to foster a commitment to young people that will promote pro-work friendships, strong interpersonal and professional skills, and reassert a sense of hope as they transition into the job market. Strong positive relationships help individuals develop the commitment required to follow through on the many challenges facing today’s workforce. Young men and women understand they need to embrace technology and learn to use the tools and software needed to compete in today’s job market.

To help accomplish this goal, these individuals must have a caring, inclusive, and safe learning environment that promotes their best efforts and reinforces personal respect.
